POSSE is the practice of posting content on your own site first, then publishing copies or sharing links to third parties : POSSE is short for Post (on your) Own Site Syndicate Elsewhere.

I try as much as possible to create content on my blog and syndicate to Bluesky & Mastodon

Sometimes I also manually cross-post to corporate social media where I still have a presence : Threads or even Facebook (mostly related to Chardons Bleus or if I want to reach local friends in Brussels)

I was on Twitter, now X, for 17 years, I decided to quit X in 2023 and left my placeholder account there mostly to avoid impersonation.
